Amid the grizzly details of how American aid worker Kayla Mueller was treated by the Islamic State's top commander -- report here -- is a little something to cheer about: one of the Iraqi ISIS commanders was shot dead by an Iraqi woman for abusing her as a sex slave for a period of three months. The militant identified as Abu Anas, a prominent figure in the terrorist organisation, was shot by a woman who is assumed to be of Yazidi/Kurdish community.
Not only was she abused by Anas but was also given away to his underlings as a 'gift’, where she was made to marry several of them. The ISIS leader was killed close to the militant stronghold of Mosul on Saturday, in the Tal Roman district.
