South West Africa transport modes stamp, 1931

A trimotor plane, a ship and a South African Railways steam passenger train. South West Africa was a German colony until 1919 when it was taken over by South Africa, and these two stamps are in Afrikaans and English.  German was also an official language until independence as Namibia in 1990, when only English was made official.  For more, see earlier posts.
