An artwork by Rosie Louise and Terry Moyle (jointly credited) and available as a print commercially. In reality there is a long building between the two on the left. The Centennial Milkbar in the art deco style on the right was built in 1947. The red car looks like a Vauxhall of the mid 1940s. See earlier post, and of course our book on the Otago Central Railway.
