This was a mixed passenger and cargo ship with a relatively small 5,825 grt, handed over from the Canadian west coast builders in 1948 and used by Canadian National until 1975 when a fire, coinciding with CN losing interest in the cruise ship scene, resulted in a change of owners, which continued until 1995. The ship sank while under tow to Chinese breakers in 1996. More info
