Brill T44 trolleybus in Vancouver, Canada, 1965

The creation of Vancouver's trolleybus system (mainly conversion of streetcar routes) occurred in the same period as that of Los Angeles, with 82 units of the Brill model T44 acquired in 1947 and 1948.  These were supplemented by 245 of the larger model T48 (and variants T48A and T48SP), acquired between 1949 and 1954.

Wrong! That is a Winnipeg Transit Brill trolley, NOT a B.C. Hydro Vancouver trolley. A distance of 2,300km separates the two cities, not to mention the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Yep, that is Winnipeg. The building on the right is Winnipeg’s Union Staion (now Via Rail Staition), at Main Street and Broadway. You can see it in G. Street View.
