the Kiwi Card - but not where you'd expect

The SNCF, or French National Railways, created the Carte Kiwi in 1987 as a discount card for those with families to travel at half price for up to 4 persons.  It was still in place 10 years later, but we are not sure when it ended.  The video clip with its catchy song (well remembered if not always fondly) here.  For those who don't understand French, here is the transcription:

(Tous) - Kiwiii
(All) - Kiwii
(Papa) - Avec la carte Kiwi, tu payes moitié prix.
- Et ton papa…
(Dad) - With the Kiwi Card you pay half price
- and your dad...
(Tous) - …aussi.
(all) - ...also
(Maman) - Et ta maman…
(mum) - and your mum...
(Tous) - …aussi.
(all) - ...also
(Tonton) - Et ton Tonton…
(Tonton) - and your Tonton
(Tous) - …aussi.
(Marraine) - Et ta Marraine…
(Tous) - …aussi.
(Contrôleur SNCF) - Billets s’il vous plait.
(SNCF Conductor) - tickets please
(Tous) - Oui Ouiii!
- Voici la carte Kiwi. Nos billets moitié prix.
(all) - yes yes - here's the Kiwi Card. Our tickets at half price
(Voyageur) - Moitié prix? C’est pas possible!
(traveller) - half price? That's not possible!
(Contrôleur SNCF) - Mais si, c’est possible, avec la carte Kiwi, l’enfant de moins de seize ans…
(SNCF Conductor) - but yes, it's possible, with the Kiwi Card, a child less than 16
(Tous) - …et ceux qui l’accompagnent jusqu’à quatre personnes…
(all) - ...and those who accompany him up to 4 persons...
(Maman, Marraine) - …payent tous moitié prix.
(mum, Marraine) - ...pay all half price.
(Tous) - Un enfant, une carte Kiwi et on voyage à moitié prix.
(all) - A child, a Kiwi Card and you travel at half price.
