As those who have the book Wellington Transport Memories know, the Eastbourne Borough Council had its own bus service from the Art Deco style depot at Eastbourne around the harbour as far as the Wellington Railway Station environs. The above photo was taken in the early 1950s, and the second is of a recently restored EBC bus at its 'spiritual home', belonging to the NZ Omnibus Society fleet.
