first Swiss airship station at Lucerne art, 1910

Every day an ascent (there were 66 in 1910), just for sightseeing, as there wasn't another station in the country.  The hangar is visible in the depiction.  It was a blimp which, unlike a zeppelin, had no rigid framework. It had a five-man crew and a passenger capacity of 8, and was poweed by a 100 hp engine. The operation only lasted from 1910 to 1912.  More info
