On first sight this may cause surprise, but the display board shows that the same operators run rail buggy excursions along most of the Steven Joyced Stratford to Okahukura Line or SOL which has been mothballed awaiting a change in government (whenever that may be).
The twisty highway which accompanies generally the railway route is known as the the Lost World Highway, and is also worth a drive over.
