Reading double-deck tram, England, late 1900s
This city's electric tram era began in 1903 but replacement buses appeared soon after WW1. This Bath Road route was abandoned in 1930 and the rest of the lines before WW2. Note that Reading is pronounced 'red-ing', as is the American namesake.
