"In the midst of a very successful day along the Laggan Sub, CPKC 21B-30, The Royal Canadian Pacific rolled into the siding at Banff for a meet with CPKC 112-29. This gleaming heritage passenger set was powered by CP 1401, CP 1900 and CP 4107 and was deadheading to Lake Louise to pick up some passengers for a sunset trip to Banff and back to Lake Louise. CPKC 21B was behind three westbound grain trains with several eastbounds opposing and wound up heading eastward from Lake Louise at dusk. We caught the train at Banff, Castle Mountain, Lake Louise and of course, at the iconic Morant’s Curve. We’ll finish the video off with the train making its runaround move at Banff to head back to Lake Louise under the cover of darkness."
