metre-gauge diesel in Bolivia, 1977


A Hitachi-Mitsubishi Bo-Bo-Bo diesel-electric model BF18 with a 1,300hp (970 kW) prime mover, of which 20 were acquired in 1968. All of Bolivia's present lines are metre-gauge.
