Egyptian diesel-electric passenger trains, 1953
A new articulated diesel-electric unit arrives at Cairo Bab el-Luq from Helwan in 1953. (Alfred Nymeyer).
Birmingham is best-known in NZ for building the Fiat railcars of the 1950s, except the engines, see earlier posts.
