The origins of the name can be guessed... According to the book Encyclopedia of Western Railroad History: Volume III-Oregon & Washington, this operated 3 ft (915 mm) gauge track up Coal Creek near Eufaula from 1883 to 30 June 1904 when it was absorbed by the Eastern and Western Lumber Company. In 1896 it was listed as having 3.2 miles of line, in 1901 it had 8 miles and finally 10 miles in 1903.
From the locomotive list in this book, it seems this one pictured was a BLW-built 0-6-0ST from 1890 with a weight of 28,000 lbs (12.8 tonnes).
Everything operated by the Eastern and Western Lumber Company was abandoned in 1926.
