A photo that was considered for but not used in the book Wellington Transport Memories - a different photo of a different area was used instead. This shows the Mt Victoria area, left centre and the Hataitai area to the right. Neighbouring the harbour to the north are the Oriental Bay and Roseneath areas. In the distance is Petone and Lower Hutt. Our book Wellington: a Capital Century talks about features in the photo.
