EMD F3 units at Sacramento in 1947

An F3 of the Western Pacific and an F3 of the Sacramento Northern (a WP subsidiary) are seen at Sacramento, California, in June 1947.  These Bo-Bo type locomotives produced from 1945 to 1949 had 1,500 hp EMD 567 2-stroke diesel prime movers.
