same book, different covers

It is common for a hardback edition of a successful book title to be followed by a cheap paperback edition, and common for that edition to have a slightly different cover.

But above is an example of a book with 6 quite different covers: Danish writer Leif Davidsen's Enemy in the Mirror, published in the original Danish, then translations in German and French.  The six covers with no resemblance to each other seems a little odd given that it is essentially the same book even if in 2 different bindings and 3 different languages.  As far as we can tell it was not published in an English edition.
