German police hunt for 7 Muslims who planned suicide bomb attacks at New Year’s Eve in Munich


German police were tipped off by French and US intelligence agencies about a jihadi cell of five to seven people who intended to blow themselves up at two Munich stations -- the Hauptbahnhof (main station) and Pasing.

Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann today warned that the overall threat in Europe remained high -- in fact, this is the new norm now in Europe.
