International AS truck, Wairakei

A model built in the mid to late 1950s seen with geothermal pipes of the Wairakei field, not far from Taupo, see earlier post.

An interesting aspect of the photo is those centre double white lines as in Australia, rather than the American style double yellow lines, which have been used in NZ for at least the last 50 years.
