In the 1990s McDonalds equipped restaurant cars on the SBB/CFF (Swiss Federal Railways) with their offerings and last year Starbucks did the same, according to this article, fitting out double deck cars as mobile cafés.
According to the article, Starbucks are known for their high prices, and did not want to make the prices on trains dearer. High prices by Swiss standards would have to be astronomical for anyone else.
