French TEE train, 'Ile de France'

This train began running very early in the history of the premier Trans Europe Express trains, on 2 June 1957, between Paris Gare du Nord and Amsterdam Centraal Station.  It lasted until 1984 when it was truncated to Brussels for another 3 years.

The equivalent train today is the high-speed Thalys.
