Actually this pic is not dated but the bus looks like one from about 1930 and electric automotrice 421 belonged to the 48 km system of the Chemins de fer électriques de la Gruyère or CEG. In 1942 this railway was part of another merger in this region to form the Chemins de fer Fribourgeois, Gruyère - Fribourg - Morat or GFM.
