French post-impressionist painter Edouard Léon Cortès (1882 - 1969), among other subjects, had a penchant for Paris street scenes in snow, rain and twilight. These appealing examples feature the old Parisan electric trams, but most pictures have equally nice treatments of what are now classic cars. A good online gallery of his pictures is here.
