Quite a tidy vehicle, it wears the Speedlink Parcels colours which NZR adapated in the 80's as a revamped service. The same green was applied to the coaches with the vermilion and cream to signify they were freight carriers too. Back in the late 80's we also carried mail under contract to NZ POST until their bosses and accountants pulled out. It was a great job but the National Govt killed it all once they regained power, which is why they never get my vote.
