Alaska Railroad streamliner train from 1947
Number 1050 seen here was an Alco RF1A, built in 1943 (builder #70661) for the U.S. Army. The Alaska Railroad purchased it in 1947. It was retired and scrapped in 1963. The livery was blue with yellow.
