Italian class 554 three-phase AC electric

Seen at Cuneo in 1972.  A total of 183 of these E type of 77 tonnes were built between 1928 and 1930.  The output (one hour rating) was 2,000 kW or 2,700 hp. Top speed was 50 km/h.  Only two are preserved.
