Gasoline powered. These were all retired by 1976.

I found a bus like this out in the forest maybe something like a 2 hour drive from Seattle. The valve cover on the engine had the name of it which led me here. Anyways, here’s the website and documentation of that hike if anyone is curious https://www.backpacker.com/trips/seattle-wa-mineral-city/
I found a bus like this abandoned out in the forest about a 2 hour drive northeast of Seattle. It was pretty cool, I think someone bought it for a makeshift cabin out in the woods. Anyways, I can’t post links on this, but if you Google “Mineral City former town site WA” you could find a website to a hike along which this bus lives now.
