Norfolk and Western's bicentennial locomotive

An SD45 was painted in 1974 as shown for America's bicentennial in 1976 and toured the then railroad's 14 state system for 2 years, seen here in Roanoke, Virginia.  The ring of stars looks more like the present EU flag.
