Gare Corvisart, Paris Métro, circa 1906
This station, now on line 6 of the Paris Métro, was opened in 1906. It takes its name from nearby Rue Corvisart, which honors Jean-Nicolas Corvisart (1755-1821), personal doctor of Napoléon I.
