Georgia truck stamps, 1999
Construction of the Kutaisi truck factory, in Stalin's home country of Georgia, part of the Soviet Union to 1991, began in 1945, with the first truck a ZIS-150 (KAZ-150) coming off the assembly line on 15 August 1951.
