As mentioned in the earlier post,
Le Salaire de la Peur / The Wages of Fear (1953) is one of the best and the second half of the film, featuring a 300-mile (500 km) drive through a rugged unnamed South American country by four men in two trucks carrying loads of highly volatile nitroglycerin is very tense stuff.
