early steamer on the Lac d'Annecy, France
The steamer "France" on the Lac d'Annecy. Covering 27.6 sq km in the Haute Savoie, this is the second largest wholly French lake and now known as Europe's cleanest lake because of strict environmental regulations introduced in the 1960s.
