old vehicles atop the Col d'Allos, France

The Col d'Allos is a 2,250 metre (7,382 ft) high mountain pass in the French Alps (Département of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) which connects Barcelonnette in the Ubaye Valley and Colmars and goes on to the Col des Champs.  Between 1911 and 1939 this was always in the Tour de France route, and has been part of the route 33 times, last in 2000.

The two views look to be late 1910s and late 1920s respectively.  The first has a couple of cows visible, presumably the chalet's milk supply. The second has a PLM autocar in the foreground.
