This is one of the well-used reference books in our library, being an extensive pictorial coverage of American cars of the 1940s. Most of the jacket area is reflective foil in green and silver tints (for which reason it doesn't scan very well) and the titles are embossed as is the car on the front. From it we figured that the pic below of a car from a 1940s magazine shows a 1941 Oldsmobile.
