The first ship is the Russian scientific research vessel Vitiaz and the second ship is a space communications ship, converted in 1978 from a wood-carrier merchant ship Semyon Kosinov built in 1968. Both are part of the Museum of the World Ocean in Königsberg/Kaliningrad now part of Russia (see earlier post) Museum website.
