The final of the Rugby World Cup was held on Sunday night; Penguin will have their book on the RWC tournament in booksellers on Thursday. As mentioned in the definition (see earlier post), "a book which takes only 3 hours to write will be a little lacking in the quality department but you'll be impressed by the speed" - presumably it will likewise be a "flick lit" book (also defined).
At least the RWC has provided NZ with a bit of cheer in what has been a dismal year. The nail bittingly close final with the French team was also the ideal end, you don't want a situation of "we're the best in world because the competition isn't much good."
