NSW 32 class steamers

Two of the New South Wales Government Railways' C32 class steam locomotives are seen on a goods train to Cooma in 1963.  These were 4-6-0 types locos, of which 191 were built, by four different builders, between 1892 and 1911.  The last of the class was withdrawn in December 1971; four are now preserved.

This seems to be a goods train departing Cooma… Sydney bound about to cross the first level crossing as you leave Cooma. The 32 class engines shown have probably come off the Kosciusko skiers express that arrived in Cooma earlier that morning. This was a common practice when goods loading was heavy in Cooma yard.Hope this helps.
