Chassis and engine by the Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus company, otherwise known as the Midland "Red". Fully restored many years ago by the Trent Motor Traction works in London Rd, Derby and incorporates one of the oldest known working ZF "Aphon" gearboxes by the Zahnradfabrik company of Friedrichshafen, Germany.
