At long last, opened on June 6, the new LAX/Metro Transit Center connects Metro’s C and K Lines directly to LAX via a free airport shuttle until LAWA's Automated People Mover opens in 2026. The station offers a faster, more convenient way to get to and from the airport—no traffic, no hassle and it's by far the cheapest option.
A dedicated free LAX Shuttle runs every 10 minutes between the LAX/Metro Transit Center and all LAX terminals. Shuttles pick up and drop off at the lower level of each terminal. The LAWA Automated People Mover connection is coming in 2026 and will connect directly to the LAX/Metro Transit Center for even faster access to the terminals.
