It was built in 1902 by Maschinenfabrrik Esslingen in Germany for the SBB/CFF -- 5 years later it went to the Uerikon-Bauma-Bahn. Since 2005 it has been part of SBB Historic and operated by the Steam Assocation Group VDZ in Zurich.
