SNCF class BB 66000, France

BB 66219 with a short train from Bort les Orgues going to Neussargues arrives at the station of St Etienne in 1990.
A total 318 of these Bo-Bo diesel-electrics intended for freight usage were built by CAFL, Alstom, CEM, SACM and Fives-Lille in the period 1960-1968 and were the bonnes à tout faire (maids for all work) of the SNCF for the next few decades.  As at last February, 34 were still in service.
