This was an American-engined British sports car produced 1962-1967. The engine was provided by Ford in the US after American automotive designer, racing driver and entrepreneur Carroll Shelby (1923–2012) sought one for for a customized AC Cobra. As well as the AC Cobra, Shelby was best known for his involvement with Mustang-based performance cars. More
