Latvia vehicle stamps, 1996

Left to right: 1912 Russo-Balt fire truck; 1899 Leuiner Russia; 1939 Ford Vairogs.  The latter ("Vairogs" = Shield; earlier called "Fenikss") was the name of a car factory in Riga that produced license built Ford cars between September 1937 and 1940 when it was expropriated by the Soviets after they invaded.
