the Manchurian Express, 1900s


This ultra long distance train ran between Moscow and the Chinese city called Dalny while under Russian control between 1898 and 1905, now called Dalian.  According to the info on the back of this Raphael Tuck "oilette", the trains usually consisted of 5 cars: combined baggage and kitchen, diner, one first class and two second class.
