This is a series of Bo-Bo electrics, originally class 1044 from 1978, rebuilt as from 2009. Their power output is a high 5,200 kW. The rebuilding apparently included Funkfernsteuerung - remote distance control for using them as unmanned pusher locos in longer freight train. These two examples were seen in Leoben by Geoff Churchman.
