wooden platforms at Malmö station, Sweden

An unusual material to make platforms out of, unless these were temporary ones. An undated postcard scene. The Malmö station was established in 1856 and the present building dates from 1872.  In recent years its importance has increased with the opening of the Oresund bridge to Copenhagen in 2000 and the new city's new tunnel railway.
