Qantas clearly doesn't see it as a profitable route and Auckland to Los Angeles flights will stop as of 6 May. The end of March will see the end of Qantas flights to London from Hong Kong and Bangkok.
This will leave Air NZ with a monopoly on Auckland to LA, but it shouldn't rub its hands with glee as that's the sort of situation that Richard Branson typically eyes with interest...
