Santa Fe heritage steam locomotive

Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway No. 2925, a 4-8-4 built by Baldwin in 1944, is seen acting as a front-end helper loco on a freight train at Abo, New Mexico, in July 1956, the month it last operated. In March 1986 it was gifted by Santa Fe to the California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento where it has been undergoing slow restoration and like all such projects, the museum appreciates help.
