train movie on the Sky Movie channel

Unstoppable starring Denzel Washington from about a year ago had its "Blockbuster Premiere" on the regular Sky movie channel last Sunday night.  The director Tony Scott's past work puts you off wanting to see anything in a cinema with his name on it, unless you're a fan of explosions, overturning cars, frantic pacing, yelling, garish colors, ridiculous contrast, brutal black levels, and overlaid noise - but you don't mind seeing it for free, if as in this case there are some good transport scenes.

Of course, if you know something about the subject, then some of the technical aspects are ridiculous - throttles don't slip from idle to notch 8 by themselves, the original engineer would have had the time to simply turn the last aircock on the last freight car to bleed out the air and apply the brakes, diesel fuel tanks won't explode, and so on... but if you can tolerate all the nonsense, then you still get some nice scenes of American freight trains of varying sizes (the "runaway" varies in length quite a bit too).
