Callao, Peru, trams and an 'English Railway'

"Wasn't Peru colonised by the Spanish and not the English?" you ask.  Info about Peru's trams and the English Railway here.

Hello,
I am very interested in these postcards. Do you have the originals?
My grandparents immigrated with their family(the Bremners) to NZ from Peru in 1920. My great grandfather (a expat Scotsman - Robert Reid) was the manager of the railways in Peru for many years. So this material is very relevant to my family history.
The books you have on the net about the rail and tram history in Peru are wonderful.
I'm very excited to have found this!

Thanks for the encouragement, Sue. No we don't have the originals of these cards, we still have about 300-400 postcards ffrom different parts of the world to scan and put on the blog, but those ones have been sold. You may find that other people put such from time to time on TradeMe, e-bay and the like.
